Welcome to our Halls of Residence website

The Halls Office has the responsibility of taking all applications for halls of residence, allocating rooms and managing the residences.

Currently the University has about 2300 places in residence on three residential sites in Bangor and we are able to guarantee a place in a hall of residence to all new first year undergraduates who make an application by 31 July

Our Accommodation conforms to the The Universities UK Code of Practice for University Managed Student Accommodation.

All the accommodation sites are within walking distance of the City Centre and the University buildings. All bedrooms have a bed, wardrobe or storage space, chair and work area. Nearly all our accommodation if offered on a self catered basis.

We also have accommodation for some postgraduate students and some students participating in visits from abroad via our International Office, all of which is self catered.
