Applications for 2012-13
We are now taking applications for rooms in hall from returning students for the 2012-13 academic session. There will be a finite number of rooms for returning students and it is not possible to guarantee any particular student a room.
A panel will review applications from students mentioning conditions that affect their accommodation requirements. However students should not assume that mentioning such circumstances will guarantee them a room. Remaining rooms (after those allocated by the panel) available for returning students will be allocated according to a ballot witnessed by a SU representative to be held soon after the closing date.
If you're applying for a room in halls for September 2012, please read the Allocation policy for current students which will tell you how we will decide who will get a room in Hall.
Please note Neuadd Garth and Neuadd Rathbone will not be available in 2012-13.

Successful candidates...
We hope that successful students will be emailed in March 2012. Students will be invited to log on to the website again to view and accept their Residence Agreement within a specified period of time. Students wishing to accept the offer of a room will be required to pay a deposit of £300.00 at the point of acceptance.
The Residence Agreement is legally binding and any student who does not take up residence without notification to the Halls Office prior to 31st August 2012 will be charged in full for the room until the date that it is re-let. Students must understand the legally binding nature of the agreement and the necessity of advising the Halls Office if they wish to break the agreement. This is still the case even if the student decides to leave the University.
Unsuccessful candidates...
Unsuccessful students will be advised by email and will be invited to inform the Halls Office in writing if they still wish to be considered for University Accommodation if a vacancy occurs.
