If you are applying to the University through the UCAS clearing process or if you make a late application to the University in any other way we will still find you a room in a hall of residence providing you make an application as soon as you are offered a place at the University and by 31st August.
Please note that we can not begin to process your application for accommodation until we have allocated rooms to all students who had conditional or unconditional offers to study at the University. Your place at the University must also be confirmed through UCAS before we can begin to process your application.
Very occasionally students who come to the University through the clearing process may be placed in temporary accommodation, organised by the University, until a place in Halls becomes available. If you are placed in temporary accommodation please do not worry; students are placed in halls as soon as possible.
Late applicants for hall places (including clearing applicants) should state on their application form the halls of their choice in case of last minute vacancies. Inevitably however many residences may be full before you apply for a room. All these applicants should understand that it is unlikely that we will be able to fulfil their demands for a specific hall and later applicants will be allocated rooms in whichever hall vacancies may be found.
Welsh speaking applicants should note that there will still be vacancies in Neuadd JMJ, the hall for welsh speaking students.
