Showcasing the latest in science, technology and engineering

Bangor Science Festival, part of the National Science and Engineering Week offers something for everyone, with activities for families and schools groups, adults looking for entertainment and stimulating debate, or professionals interested in the latest research.

Bangor Science Festival is organised with the help of the Dr Tom Parry Jones Fund, which was set up by the Bangor University alumnus and inventor of the electronic breathalyser to promote science and engender entrepreneurship in young people.

Praise for Bangor University's Science Events...

" The Ecoscience Day at Bangor University was extremely enjoyable for both pupils and staff. The day was undoubtedly of great educational value for the pupils allowing them to experience science beyond the classroom and to gain an insight into the opportunities available to them in the future."

Miss Marion Williams, Learning Leader Science, Ysgol Uwchradd Caergybi, who attended Bangor University's Ecoscience Day in March 2010.
