Bangor University was established in 1884 and has a long tradition of academic excellence that continues to this day.
The University has an impressive range of learning resources, including an extensive collection of books and journals; over 1000 computers for student use (with some PC rooms open 24 hours a day) a number of social learning spaces, the research vessel 'The Prince Madog,' state of the art science labs and an MRI Scanner.
