Directions to Bangor University
BY RAIL: Leave Bangor Station, turn left into Holyhead Road and walk up the hill, past Morrisons’ Store (on right). Go straight across the mini roundabout, past the shops to the pedestrian crossing. Cross over and turn right into College Road. The Main Arts Building is 200 metres on the right.

Take the A55 Expressway along the North Wales Coast.
- From the SW of England, from the M6 follow the M54 signs to Shrewsbury, Wrexham and Chester and the A55 to Bangor.
- From the North, you need to take the M56 and the A55 to Bangor.
- From West Wales: Take the A487 to Aberystwyth, then via Dolgellau, Porthmadog and Caernarfon to Bangor.
- From South East Wales: Take the route via Hereford, Leominster and Shrewsbury, then follow the Wrexham and Chester signs to the A55.
From the A55: Leave the A55 at Junction 11 for Bangor. Turn right at the roundabout and take the A5122 to Bangor. Follow the road (approximately 2 miles) and as you approach Bangor follow the bend on the left after passing the Boatyard on your right. Follow the main road, passing Bangor Swimming Pool on your left, to the mini roundabout by ‘Marks and Spencer’ and take the right turn into Love Lane. At the top of Love Lane, turn left and continue for 50 metres, then take another left into College Road. The Main Arts Building is located approximately 100 meters on the left.
From the A487 (from West Wales): at the A487/A4087 roundabout, follow the exit signposted for “Conwy/Holyhead”. At the next 3 roundabouts, follow the signs for Bangor. Follow Holyhead Road after the third roundabout for 1 mile until you reach Bangor and as you reach the pedestrian crossing, turn left into College Road (by the ‘Belle Vue’ tavern). The Main Arts Building is 50 metres down this road on the right.

Car parking:
Please note that there is no guaranteed parking for visitors who attend Admissions Days. Attendants will be present at each Admissions Day to assist people to find parking places but another option is to park in one of the pay and display car-parks which are clearly marked on the downloadable map.
There are disabled parking spaces available outside the Main Arts Building and reservations for this parking can be made when you book online.
