Research Interests
Since my PhD, I have been interested in pragmatic markers, such as modal particles in German and Luxembourgish, discourse markers, and quotatives. My particular field of interest at the moment is computer-mediated communication and the discourses found in the consumer generated media, such as YouTube and Facebook. I have become increasingly interested in online ethics and the relationship between Generation Y/M and technology.
