Arweinydd: Gwerfyl
Roberts, Darlithydd gwerfyl.w.roberts@bangor.ac.uk,
llais@bangor.ac.uk
Aelodau:
• Ruth Wyn Williams, Myfyriwr Ôl-radd hsp42e@bangor.ac.uk
• Siobhan Tranter, Darlithydd s.tranter@bangor.ac.uk
• Jaci Huws, Darlithydd j.huws@bangor.ac.uk
• Heledd Owen, Swyddog Cynorthwyo Project Ymchwil, heledd.owen@bangor.ac.uk
Mae’r llif gwaith hwn, sy’n canolbwyntio ar yr ymwybyddiaeth o iaith a
diwylliant mewn iechyd a gofal cymdeithasol, yn cynnwys yn bennaf ymchwil
a yrrir gan bolisi er mwyn gwella’r sylfaen o dystiolaeth ar gyfer ymwybyddiaeth
o iaith a diwylliant mewn iechyd a gofal cymdeithasol.
Mae Gwerfyl Roberts yn gydymaith ymchwil yn y Ganolfan
ESRC dros Ymchwil i Ddwyieithrwydd. Mae'r ganolfan yn cefnogi gwaith
ieithyddol perthnasol i Gymru ddwyieithog.
Mae Gwerfyl Roberts – arweinydd y grŵp thema - hefyd yn gydsefydlydd
LLAIS, y Gwasanaeth Cefnogi Isadeiledd
Ymwybyddiaeth o Iaith ar gyfer CRC
Cymru a ariennir gan WORD
Cydgyfarwyddwyr: Gwerfyl Roberts
gwerfyl.w.roberts@bangor.ac.uk
Yr Athro Fiona Irvine F.Irvine@ljmu.ac.uk
Mae ein mentrau ymchwil presennol yn cynnwys:
• Mesur
Iechyd Cymru. Fel grŵp datblygu ymchwil LLAIS mae’r gwaith hwn yn
cefnogi’r defnydd o offerynnau ymchwil iechyd a gofal cymdeithasol cyfrwng
Cymraeg yng Nghymru ac yn hyrwyddo dulliau o gyfieithu a dilysu ar lefel
genedlaethol a rhyngwladol. heledd.owen@bangor.ac.uk
• BACH. Fel grŵp datblygu ymchwil LLAIS, BACH, ei genhadaeth yw datblygu
astudiaeth ymyrryd yn canolbwyntio ar effaith cydgordiad iaith ar ganlyniadau
iechyd. Ar hyn o bryd mae’r grŵp yn cael tîm cynllunio arbenigol i lunio
cynnig cadarn ar gyfer RCT.
• PILSen. Bwriad yr astudiaeth hon yw edrych ar ymarferoldeb sefydlu
prawf ar hap dan oruchwyliaeth (RCT) ar ddewis cleifion er mwyn ymchwilio
i effaith ymyriad cydgordiol iaith ar ganlyniadau cleifion mewn fferyllfeydd.
Bydd darganfyddiadau'r astudiaeth hon yn llywio datblygiad RCT mwy a
ddylai ddylanwadu ar bolisi ac ymarfer ar gyfer cynllunio ieithyddol
mewn gofal iechyd mewn sefyllfaoedd amlieithog eraill.
•BDI. Diben yr astudiaeth hon yw cynhyrchu fersiwn Gymraeg o’r BDI-II
wedi’i chyfieithu a’i dilysu’n drwyadl, a fydd o ddefnydd i ymchwilwyr
a chlinigwyr yn y gwasanaeth iechyd yng Nghymru. Mae’r astudiaeth yn
gyfle gwerthfawr i gloriannu canllawiau consensws ar gyfer cyfieithu
mesurau canlyniad y rhoddir gwybod amdanynt gan y claf.
• FFLACH, Fel grŵp
datblygu ymchwil LLAIS mae’r gwaith hwn yn cefnogi’r ymwybyddiaeth a’r
defnydd o’r Gymraeg yn y ddarpariaeth iechyd a gofal cymdeithasol ar
gyfer plant a phobl ifanc.
