In addition to the academic qualifications detailed below, students must meet the English Language Requirements

Foundation Courses 
Students with good grades in their Kazakh secondary school qualification (Attestat). 

Undergraduate Courses
Students with good grades in their Kazakh secondary school qualification (Attestat) AND who have completed a recognised Foundation course.  Students with good Attestat qualifications and who have completed at least 1-2 years of study from a recognised Kazakh university can also be considered for direct entry into year one of a bachelor degree at Bangor. 

Postgraduate Courses

Students who have got good grades in their Diplom ob Okanchanii Vyssheg(v)o Uchebnog(v)o Zavedeniya from a recognised Kazakh university.
OR Specialist Diploma (since 1991) in a relevant subject area with good grades.
OR Students with a Bakalavr (since 1991) in a relevant subject area with good grades.
OR Students with a good Magister (since 1991).

PhD

Requires a Masters degree from a recognised university, as well as a Bachelor degree.

Mature students (age 25+)

Students who are 25 years or older on the date of registration may be eligible for entry under the mature student regulations. This regulation does not require a bachelor degree. The applicants must however have held a position of responsibility relevant to the proposed course of study for a minimum period of 2 years prior to commencing the course. This rule does NOT apply for applicants for PhD studies, and entrants MUST have a taught postgraduate degree.

English Language Requirements
An IELTS score of 6.0 is required for undergraduate and postgraduate courses (4.5 or 5.0 for Foundation courses).
