Entry requirements

In addition to the academic qualifications detailed below, students must meet the English Language Requirements

Foundation Courses
Students with good grades in their Secondary Education Certificate.

Undergraduate Courses
Students with good grades in their General Secondary Certificate / High School Leaving Certificate AND who have completed a recognised Foundation Course.
OR Holders of a good Diploma (from a recognised Higher Education Institute)

Postgraduate Courses
Holders of a good Bachelor degree from a recognised institution in Libya
OR Students who hold a good Master's degree from a recognised institution in Libya

PhD

Requires a Masters degree as well as a Bachelor degree.

Mature students (age 25+)

Students who are 25 years or older on the date of registration may be eligible for entry under the mature student regulations. This regulation does not require a bachelor degree. The applicants must however have held a position of responsibility relevant to the proposed course of study for a minimum period of 2 years prior to commencing the course. This rule does NOT apply for applicants for PhD studies, and entrants MUST have a taught postgraduate degree.

English Language Requirements
An IELTS score of 6.0 is required for undergraduate and postgraduate courses (4.5 or 5.0 for Foundation courses).
