In addition to the academic qualifications
detailed below, students must meet the English
Language Requirements
Undergraduate Entry
All applicants must have successfully
completed High School education.
All applicants must have passed the
national university entrance exam in Vietnam. This is separated into four academic
streams, with the exception of Art, Design and Music which will have their own
specialised exams. The subject listing is as follows:
- Group A: Maths, Physics, Chemistry
- Group B: Maths, Chemistry, Biology
- Group C: Literature, History, Geography
- Group D: Maths, Literature, Foreign Languages
All applicants must successfully complete
a Foundation Course recognised by University of Wales, Bangor.
Postgraduate Entry
Taught Study (MA, MSc, MMus, MTh,
MBA)
Requires a taught Master's degree
/ Thac si from a recognised institution.
Research (MPhil)
Requires a research Master's degree
/ Thac si from a recognised institution.
PhD
Requires a research Master's degree
/ Thac si with a high pass mark from a recognised institution.
Mature students (age 25+)
Students who are 25 years or older
on the date of registration may be eligible for entry under the mature student
regulations. This regulation does not require a bachelor degree. The applicants
must however have held a position of responsibility relevant to the proposed
course of study for a minimum period of 2 years prior to commencing the course.
This rule does NOT apply for applicants for PhD studies, and entrants MUST have
a taught postgraduate degree.
