Support for 'third mission' activities

IT services provides support for 'third mission' activities in which University staff, and students, are engaged.

In addition to the provision of the network infrastructure and services (such as network filestorage and backup of your important and often large datasets) some of our support for third mission activities projects comes through the provision of consultancy services in the design and build of applications - such as databases, or in the specification of IT equipment, or the development and provision of videoconferencing facilities to help reduce travel times between partner organisations.
