Our aim is to provide the very best services for you. We offer:

  • A wide range of software on the network - With special deals for student software purchase
  • The Media Centre which houses the University's television, radio and post- production facilities
  • The Reprographics Unit (Argraffdy Menai) which provides students with access to digital colour printing facilities, dissertation binding and laminating. They also offer an advisory service on graphic design and print presentation
  • Blackboard (a commercial Virtual Learning Environment) to contribute to a rich learning experience for students. It allows learning materials to be made available on-line. It is usually arranged into modules or courses and only the students enrolled on a particular module can see the resources
  • On-line services through ‘BangorPortal’ to save you time (Which modules am I studying? What are my marks? etc)
  • A HelpDesk and advisory service to help you use IT - available by phone, in person, or by email
  • The very best for students with disabilities: the possibility of free equipment for your studies, staff to help you, specialist software and study support centres with specialised computing facilities (e.g. Braille printer, software etc.)
  • Black and White laser printing from all computer rooms and colour printing available in a range of sized from normal A4 to poster size A0
