Information for New Staff

As a new member of staff you'll have a wide range of questions, such as those outlined in the 'Common Questions' section of this page.

You may also like to view our 'Quick Reference List' of links to issues which may of interest to you as a new member of staff. Many of these questions are also answered in the New staff guide.

If you can't see a question in this list which touches on your specific issue, or you're just not sure what the problem is then you should call the IT HelpDesk on 8111.

The IT HelpDesk, based in the Deiniol Building is only a phonecall away (on extension 8111). In addition to the information on this website the HelpDesk team are there to help you with any queries you may have. If they can't help you out immediately they'll put another member of the IT Services team in contact with you.
