Copyright applies automatically as soon as an individual or organisation creates a piece of work. Copyright applies to works such as photographs, music, video, software, drawings and many others.
Users found to be abusing our network by sharing copyright material may be liable to prosecution from rights holders and disciplinary procedures from the University.
There are many legal methods of accesing material that we would encourage you to use. The following services are all legal and available over ResNet.
Streaming Television
You need a valid TV licence to watch live TV over the internet. Catch up services do not require a licence.
