Your Bangor University File Store

Associated with your Username are two file storage areas.  Your M drive and N drive. 

The M drive is your space where you can store files that can be accessed from within Bangor University or from outside. 

The N drive is a group drive.  Members of the same department will be able to see the same N drive, this is often where shared documents are located.  Whether you can read or write to specific folders on the N drive will be dictated by your username, different people will have access to different areas.

Both the M and N drives are backed up nightly to tape.  It is strongly recommended that all work is stored on either your M or N drive.
