Acceptable use of Electronic Resources

Access to electronic resources, such as e-journals and e-books, has been purchased under licence by the Library on behalf of the University. Specific licence terms vary from resource to resource, but in general they authorise the use of the resource by current Bangor University registered students, and staff only for the purpose of academic research. It is the responsibility of all members of Bangor University to ensure their use of an electronic resource does not breach the licence conditions. Use of these resources for commercial research purposes and by unauthorised users is expressly prohibited. The consequences of misuse of an electronic resource may include the suspension of library borrowing and access rights.
