Certificate Warning Help

If you are warned by your browser whilst attempting to access Bangor's electronic resources please follow the directions below.

(You may see this error when using Reaxsys or logging in to a personal profile.)

Mozilla Firefox

“This Connection is Untrusted”

You need to left-click on “I Understand the Risks” and then left-click the “Add Exception...” button and then in the “Add Security Exception” window that opens automatically left-click on the “Confirm Security Exception” button at the bottom of the window.

Internet Explorer

“There is a problem with this website's security certificate.”

You need to left-click on the “Continue to this website (not recommended)” link.

Google Chrome

“This is probably not the site that you are looking for!”

You need to left-click on the “Proceed Anyway” button.

Opera

"The server's certificate did not match its hostname. Accept?"
You need to left-click on the "Approve" button.
