Broaden Horizons

The School of Modern Languages and the School of Lifelong Learning present Learn a language, open doors, a selection of beginners, intermediate and advanced 12-week language courses to help you make the most of your career prospects, free time, or curiosity! These modules can be taken as part of your degree programme. With new language skills, you can enhance your employability, improve your communication skills and broaden your horizons.

German - Italian - French - Spanish – Mandarin Chinese - Japanese

If you are a first or second year Bangor undergraduate, you can register for these courses as part of your main registration, through the School of Modern Languages. If you are a postgraduate you can register through the Academic Development Unit. If you are from outside the University you register through the School of Lifelong Learning, whose Course Finder includes details of times and venues (pick Languages under Subject, and Gwynedd under County).
