MUSO Magazine names Bangor graduate 'top-ten composer'

Bangor graduate Jo Thomas has been featured in the music magazine MUSO in an article on '10 of the most successful and exciting young composers working in Britain today'.

Jo did a music degree at Bangor, and stayed on to complete an MA specialising in electroacoustic composition. She then went on to PhD studies, completing her doctorate at City University earlier this year.

Jo has had considerable success with her music, including commissions from the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, the Groupe de Recherches Musicales, Paris, and Sonic Arts Network. She is now hoping to make a living as a freelance composer.
