Background:
Originally from Newport, South Wales, I came to Bangor in 2003 and graduated with a first class honours degree in 2006 and an MPhil in 2008. Once a bassoonist and former member of the National Youth Orchestra of Wales, I am now more likely to be found perusing research material in the field of recent Welsh Music; especially the music of Grace Williams. To relax, I keep tabs on the exploits of Glamorgan Cricket Club, bat enthusiastically but somewhat incapably, and bowl either erratic off-spin or deeply unthreatening medium pace.
