Background
After graduating from Bangor in 2005, I subsequently continued my studies here by embarking on the taught MA programme with a focus on music analysis. I'm currently working on a doctoral thesis exploring the relationships formed between minimalist music and other media (particularly works by Glass and Reich) under the supervision of Dr Pwyll ap Siôn and with the support of the Arts and Humanities Research Council.

The analysis of minimalist and post-minimalist music. Schenkerian analysis techniques.
