The Santander Group will be awarding a number of one year undergraduate and taught postgraduate scholarships to current Bangor University students. All studentships are for one year only and vary from £3,000 to £5,000.

The scholarship fund aims to reward the most academically gifted students from countries that are supported by the Santander Universidades scheme.

The award will be given to students from the following 11 countries:

Argentina
Brazil
Chile
Colombia
Mexico
Portugal
Puerto Rico
Spain
Uruguay
Venezuela

To be eligible for the postgraduate scholarship you will have to have studied within a University which is part of the Santander Universidades Scheme. To find out if your University is part of the Santander Universidades Scheme please visit:

Am I eligible?

To apply you must be:

a national from one of the 11 Santander network countries listed above
currently registered on an undergraduate or postgraduate programme at Bangor University
to apply for a postgraduate scholarship, you will have to have studies within a University which is part of the Santander Universidades Scheme e

The closing date for applications is 30th November 2011 and the successful recipients will be informed by the end of Decenber.
