Distance Learning MSc in Forestry

The postgraduate forestry distance-learning programme launched on September 1st 2006 to complete an integrated suite of forestry-related distance-learning postgraduate programmes.

The forestry distance learning programme, which is accredited by the Institute of Chartered Foresters, is designed to be of specific interest to:

  • individuals seeking academically-based education in forestry;
  • individuals seeking a career in the management of trees and forests;
  • individuals wishing to undertake further study while employed in the forestry, or a related, profession; and
  • students wishing to develop careers in the forestry profession.

International Scholarships

Guaranteed scholarships are available for outstanding International students applying for postgraduate study (Taught Courses and Research).  Please click here for further information.

Students applying for MSc Forestry (distance learning) are also eligible to receive these scholarships.
