Excellence Scholarships
The School of Environment, Natural Resources and Geography (SENRGY) operates two Excellence Scholarships, providing financial support for one year to full-time, full fee-paying students studying our MA/MSc programmes. (find out more about our postgraduate programmes):

SENRGY Excellence Scholarship for Home/EU applicants £5,000 per annum

SENRGY Excellence Scholarship for International applicants 50% reduction in tuition fees
To be eligible to apply for a Scholarship, you must be applying for, or have already been offered a place on one of the following postgraduate degree programmes:

MSc Agroforestry
-
MSc Conservation and Land Management
-
MSc Environmental Forestry
-
MSc / MA Welsh Medium Sustainable Environmental Management (this course is only offered through the medium of Welsh)
Applicants are required to give details of their academic achievements, personal achievements and give their reasons for applying for a scholarship. Scholarships will be awarded on the strength of applications received. Whilst academic achievement is a key criterion a broad view of each candidate's academic, work experience and life achievements will be considered.
The deadline for applications is 1 June 2012.
Successful candidates will be informed of the outcome by the 30th June 2012.

International Scholarships
Guaranteed scholarships are available for outstanding International students applying for postgraduate study (Taught Courses and Research). Please click here for further information.
Students applying for MSc Forestry (distance learning) are also eligible to receive these scholarships.
Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC) International Scholarships
The CSC will fund up to 15 places for scholars from developing commonwealth countries to study the MSc Forestry (distance learning) course in September 2012. The scholarship will include international tuition fees, plus a travel scholarship to enable scholars to attend a field course. Click here for more details.
Erasmus Mundus Postgraduate Taught Scholarships
Available to EU/UK and International students to study the MSc Sustainable Forest and Nature Management (SUFONAMA) and MSc Sustainable Tropical Forestry (SUTROFOR) taught Masters degrees. Erasmus Mundus Research Scholarships
Available for UK/EU and International students studying the Forest and Nature for Society (FONASO) joint doctoral programme.
The School is a member of the Forest and Nature for Society (FONASO) consortium of seven European institutions that offers a joint doctoral programme with funded scholarships. The 2011 call for applications was launched on 15 May 2011 and the deadline for applications is 1 November 2011. For more information about the FONASO programme, see www.fonaso.eu.
