The School of Medical Sciences, the youngest School in the University, is already the focus for Medical Education in North Wales. It has excellent research and teaching links with the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board which is one of the largest in the UK.
Many staff hold joint appointments which will afford undergraduates excellent exposure to practicing clinicians and ensure the programmes are grounded in modern medical practice.
The School is pleased to inform prospective students that Bangor University and Cardiff University have signed a progression agreement for Medical Sciences (BMedSci) graduates from Bangor to the 4 Year graduate MBBCh Medicine programme at Cardiff. There will be specific threshold eligibility criteria for up to 10 who, if they meet them, are guaranteed an interview.
