MA & PhD Bursaries
The School is offering a number of bursaries for MA and PhD students in the academic year 2012-13. The value of bursaries will range from £1,000 up to the full amount of UK/EU fees and will be open to UK/EU and overseas students. Bursaries will be allocated on a competitive basis. Application Procedure
If you wish to be considered for a bursary, please complete the Social Sciences Bursary application form and attaching a copy of your CV/Resume. Your application form will NOT be considered without your CV.

Bursaries will be awarded on the strength of applications received. Whilst academic achievement is a key criterion, a broad view of each candidate's academic, work experience and life achievements will be considered.
PLEASE NOTE: your application form will NOT be accepted without a CV.
The deadline for submission of applications is 1st March and 1st July. You will be notified if you have been awarded a Bursary by 31st March and 20th July (please note that unsuccessful applicants will not be notified).
Payment of Bursaries
Bursaries will be awarded as a reduction to your tuition fees.
International Students
In addition to School-specific scholarships and bursaries, the University's International Education Centre also offers a range of additional scholarships and bursaries to International students. Please note that students are not eligible to receive both an International Scholarship and a School Scholarship. For further information please visit the International Education Centre's webpages.
