School of Sport, Health and Exercise Sciences

Undergraduate Courses

The core of our undergraduate programmes are based on sport, health and exercise science research. The research focus of the School equips graduates with the latest knowledge in their selected field, a wide range of transferable skills, and an autonomous approach to learning that keeps them at the cutting edge of their chosen career.

The School of Sport, Health and Exercise Sciences offers a range of undergraduate degree courses:

Which degree you choose will depend on your specific interests.  For instance, a degree in Sport Science (Physical Education) will give you the skills to carry on and take a PGCE to teach A Level PE, whereas Sport Science (Outdoor Activities) will provide you with the technical skills and teaching ability in various water and mountain based disciplines.
