Huw Tomos Pritchard has been named as the best postgraduate law student at Bangor University.
23 year old Huw, from Bethesda, has just completed his LLM in Law and Devolved Governments at the University's School of Law. Bangor is the first university to offer a Masters programme on Devolved Governments, which is what led to Huw pursing his postgraduate studies here. Huw said, "As devolved governments is my area of interest, the LLM was a brilliant opportunity for me to continue to develop my knowledge of that area. Bangor is also my local university so I was glad to be able to return home to continue my education.
"From the beginning I was given a warm welcome by the Law School and. I also felt that all the lecturers were friendly and always ready to talk with you. The change from undergraduate study to a more independently driven postgraduate course was a challenge but as a result it was an invaluable opportunity to strengthen my skills."
Huw will now be continuing with his studies at the Law School as he will be working towards a PhD.
