A married couple who studied Banking and Finance at Bangor University have both graduated with First Class Honours degrees. Patrycja and Piotr Danisewicz , from Poland, describe the experience of studying at Bangor Business School as 'very exciting,' adding, "We had the chance to work with leading researchers and lecturers in the field of Banking and Finance. Being a student in a relatively small community was very positive as whenever we felt uncertain about anything we were able to speak to the staff at the Business School, who were friendly and helpful."
Patrycja and Piotr first heard about Bangor University during a trip to see friends in the area several years ago. Impressed by the atmosphere in north Wales, they applied to study at the Business School and were overjoyed to be accepted. Said Piotr, "Bangor is a beautiful place and there's a real closeness between staff and students. You're not just a number in Bangor, your tutors know your name and talk to you in a friendly manner. The School and the lecturers also have an excellent reputation."
Following a summer break, Patrycja will commence an MPhil in Real Estate Finance at the University of Cambridge whilst Piotr will be remaining in Bangor to study a Masters in International Banking and Development Finance.
Patricia added, "I will miss the home like atmosphere in Bangor, as well as the friends I've made during my three years at the University."
