I was born in 1978 in Brighton, where I lived until 2004. Having completed level 1 of an undergraduate degree in Theology through the Open Theological College (2000-2003) in my spare time, I decided to continue with levels 2 and 3 full time at the London School of Theology (2004-2006). In August 2006 the School of Theology and Religious Studies offered a PhD Studentship in New Testament Studies, for which I gladly submitted an application. In September my application was accepted and I started work in October 2006. Since then I have been researching ancient Jewish apocalyptic-mystical traditions and the epistle to the Hebrews, and teaching the Greek of the New Testament.
