Canolfan Ymchwil Uwch mewn Datblygu Amaethyddol

Gwella cnydau mewn ardaloedd ymylol gan ddefnyddio dulliau cyfranogol (COB), yn enwedig bridio planhigion i ddiwallu anghenion cleientiaid , a thechnolegau agronomaidd rhad megis preimio a thrawsblannu hadau.

  • Mae cyfuno COB â thechnegau marcwyr moleciwlaidd wedi arwain at greu rhywogaethau reis newydd y gellir eu tyfu ar ucheldiroedd.
  • Roedd 95% o’r ffermwyr a dderbyniodd hadau yn 2001 neu 2002 yn dal i’w tyfu yn 2007.
