Professor CEM Yates

Liverpool 1994 -1999

I had the great privilege of working with the late Roy Stringer and his team first at the Learning Methods Unit, Liverpool John Moores University, then at Amaze Ltd. We worked initially on various mathematics projects, and then on symmetric navigation systems, going beyond Roy's famous navihedron.

One product of this era was the IBM (UK) CD Rom

Numbers in Action

which won an International Monitor Award in 1998, and was directed at the core skills module Applications of Number for GNVQ students.
