About Me:

I graduated with joint honours Degree in Welsh and Drama at Bangor University in 1980. I worked in a variety of posts, outside the field of education, before raising a family and then completed a PGCE course at Y Coleg Normal in 1996. I was a class teacher at Ysgol y Borth, Menai Bridge in Anglesey from September 1996 to 2011, being a member of the Management Team and Board of Governors from 2006 to 2011. I also worked as Welsh Language Coordinator for the local Catchment Area and as Science Advisory Teacher for Cynnal. I was also seconded to work with Cynnal at various times, contributing to various publications for schools Trafod Testun’ (Discussing Texts), for Yrs 3 and 4 and for Yrs 5 and 6; a file of activities promoting and developing oracy and jointly developed a unit of work on e-safety for NGFL and Cynnal. I worked occasionally for the School of Education before joining them, as a full time member of staff in 2011.
