This workshop explores the notion of a ‘research audit’ as a means of identifying the stages that you will need to work through in order to successfully manage your research project to completion. You will have an opportunity to:

  • ask yourself where you currently are with your project, to highlight progress and  gaps, via freewriting, individual thinking and writing tasks and group discussions
  • start filling in the structure itself by responding to a question-based grid to generate ideas and plan ways forward in a practical way
  • consider various approaches to using time-planners to help manage your time
  • subject your research plans to some critical reflection by responding to audit questions
