"Celebrating 40 years since we arrived in Bangor as freshers in 1979, our reunion last month revisited the university that had brought us together as friends all those years ago.
We were Jonathan Doherty (Education with PE); Katherine Laurence (Banking, Insurance and Finance and married to Jonathan); Jane Henderson (French & German); Helen Burton (Accounting); Lyn Roberts (Accounting); Maggie Lewis (Agriculture); Lois Yale (Agriculture) with respective partners Rich, Steve, (Osh sadly unable to make it); Mick and Adrian.
It was a trip down memory lane and a weekend of laughter and fantastic memories. We met on Saturday morning at the Belle Vue, then visited Ffriddoedd Village which was the site where we stayed in Hall in Plas Gwyn. To Top College to take in the splendid view over lower Bangor and Bangor Mountain. Then over to the wonderful Management Centre where we were staying for glasses of fizz and opening of photo albums. No we haven't changed a bit! Well, maybe. Walking down to the pier to take in the view of the stunning Menai Straits. On Sunday over to Anglesey to Menai Bridge breathing in the air and the spectacular view.”
