Applying for accommodation
Guaranteed accommodation in award-winning halls
We encourage all new students to apply for a room in one of our halls of residence. This way you'll be living with people in the same situation as you and you'll get the chance to meet people from different backgrounds and cultures and you're sure to make friends straight away. A hall of residence is much more than just a place to eat and sleep.
We guarantee a room in halls for all first year undergraduates who apply before the deadline and hold Bangor as their Firm Choice through UCAS.
Our accommodation is located at two student villages, Ffriddoedd and St Mary's. We also have one hall for postgraduate students, called Neuadd Garth. All of our accommodation is self-catering and within walking distance of the main University buildings and city centre.
How to apply
Once you have selected Bangor as your Firm Choice, we will email you in April/May inviting you to apply for accommodation. You will then be given access to our booking system where you can select your accommodation. The system allows you to book the specific room and hall that you wish to live in.
