Over the years, Bangor University has produced some notable alumni, including Oscar winning Director, Danny Boyle and the late Sir Robert Geoffrey Edwards, who was awarded the 2010 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for the development of IVF. Here's what a few of our other graduates have to say about their career paths.
Dr Monalisa Ofure Odibo - Law Alumni
Dr Monalisa Ofure Odibo is originally from Nigeria. Monalisa completed a PhD in Law at Bangor University and is now a Law lecturer at The University of Central Lancashire in Mauritius.
Jonathan Wright - Sociology and Criminology Alumni

Van Anh Le - Alumni student
Van Anh Le is originally from Vietnam. Van studied a Masters in International Commercial and Business Law and then a PhD in Intellectual Property Law at Bangor University. She is now a Teaching Fellow at Durham Law School.

Emily Riley, Graduate Geotechnical Engineer
Emily graduated from the School of Ocean Sciences with a degree in Geological Oceanography. She is now working as a graduate geotechnical engineer for Tideway, working on the eastern contract of London’s Thames Tideway Tunnel project with Costain.
Jojo Arvanitis, English Session Orchestra
Jojo studied at Bangor University's School of Music for both her undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. After completing her MA in Music she began working in orchestral management, and is currently working for the English Session Orchestra.
Osian Williams, Director SSP Media
Osian graduated from Bangor University with a 1st Class Honours degree in Communications and Media and an MA Distinction in Filmmaking. He has won a BAFTA Cymru award and is the founder of media production company, SSP Media.
