Eleanor Randall is from Trearddur Bay, Anglesey and is studying Zoology.
Bangor is one of the best university locations with so many opportunities for sports and activities thanks to the closeness of the mountains and miles of coastline.
Simran Prasad – Zoology with Marine Zoology
Simran Prasad, 19 years old is from India, but has lived in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates since birth.
The lecturers I’ve had the pleasure of meeting have all been very enthusiastic and passionate about the topics we discuss, and this passion is apparent in lectures.
Ann-Sophie Warkentin – Zoology with Animal Behaviour
Ann-Sophie Warkentin is from Germany. She is in the second year of a Zoology with Animal Behaviour degree.
The School of Biological Sciences is great because they have a good mixture between applied modules and modules with the theory behind it. I also enjoy the option to take modules from other Natural Sciences.
Michael Solski – Biology with Biotechnology
Michael Maciek Solski is 19 and has Polish-South African dual nationality. He studies Biology with Biotechnology.
Bangor’s student life is what finally convinced me to choose it over my other offers, as it looked more fun and supportive than what I could find on other universities.
Alana Nicol – BSc Zoology
Alana was born in Scotland and is currently living in France. Alana's in her second year studying Zoology with Conservation.
A great thing about Bangor is that you can easily walk anywhere in town as nothing is too far from the student accommodation. Although the best part of Bangor is definitely the landscapes!

I love the size of the university and the area. It is so easy to meet people and make new friends. Everything and everyone are never too far away.
