Lecturer in Auditing & Financial Accounting

Colin has over 30 years’ experience in accounting practice and education, qualifiying as a chartered accountant with Larking Gowen, a mid-tier firm based in Norwich and affiliated to Deloittes. After a decade in the accounting profession he moved into further education, firstly at Chelmsford College then Coleg Llandrillo.

While at Chelmsford College from 1991 to 1994 Colin served on the Pilot Scheme Steering Group for the development of the NVQ in Accounting. In FE he taught, developed and led on a range of professional accounting qualifications including AAT, ACCA, CIMA, APMP and ATT.

Colin moved to Bangor University in 2007, firstly at The Management Centre directing the development of the ACCA programme, then from 2008 teaching on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes within the Business School.
