GO Wales: Achieve through Work Experience is a new, and distinctly different, initiative to previous GO Wales projects; funded by the European Social Fund, it supports students who are under 25 years old and who face barriers in securing suitable work experience.
The programme is delivered by all Universities in Wales and aims to help students to develop and refine their employability skills though flexible, tailored, work experience.

How can you help?

By taking part in the Programme you will have the opportunity to:

  • Demonstrate your corporate social responsibility and willingness to help to create a fairer society.
  • Showcase your business or profession
  • Benefit from new ideas and fresh perspectives
  • Talent spot and maybe get a short project completed

We can work with all kinds of employers in Wales so if you would like to support a student by hosting a Work Shadowing, Work Taster or Work Placement our Project Advisors will be happy to talk to you about the options available in your company or organisation.

Whether it’s an informal insight into a role or some practical experience we’d like to hear from you!

Our Project Advisors are based within the Careers & Employability Service and can be contacted as follows:
