Talk to an Employability Adviser
You can have an informal (and confidential) discussion with a careers adviser at any stage of your university career, from first year through to postgraduate level. Students often use these appointments to get their career planning started, have their CV or application form checked, get help with interview skills or identifying sources of information, etc. This service is available to current students who are undertaking a minimum of 50 academic credits and to graduates who have graduated within the past three years. Due to the high demand on this service, we are unable to support any student undertaking fewer than 50 credits.
We run a careers clinic every week day (Monday – Friday) and a Welsh medium adviser is available on Mondays and Thursdays. Availability of appointments may vary out of term-time. Appointments are for 20 minutes and can be booked in advance using one of the following methods.
- By registering/logging in to our online system and choosing a date from the 'Events Calendar'.
- Telephone Careers Reception (01248 382071)
- Call in to Careers Reception in person (2nd floor, Rathbone)
- For a Skype Interview (available usually on Tuesdays between 11-12) please email firstname.lastname@example.org
