
About CELT
The Centre for the Enhancement of Learning and Teaching (CELT) is a team of individuals who strategically lead innovative projects to develop and support a high performing learning and teaching environment across the University. A particular focus is the identification of opportunities from data and sector drivers in order to create and deploy informed and research-led solutions to drive forward innovate learning and teaching.
CELT members have a University-wide remit, with the Centre’s activity being line-managed by the Pro Vice Chancellor (Learning and Teaching). The Centre’s current remit includes: a staff mentoring-for-teaching scheme, the PGCertTHE, Higher Education Academy (HEA) Fellowships, aspects of Continuing Professional Development, leadership of the Academy of Teaching Fellows, and support in mobilising key projects for our blended-learning delivery.
