This module runs over three full days: Monday 7th / 14th/ 28th October

At the core of sustainable development is the inter-relationship between the environmental, economic, social and cultural factors.  A sustainable business strategy makes a positive impact in these areas, creates value and helps support business success.

This module presents the principle concepts of sustainability that can be applied in a variety of workplaces.  It develops knowledge and understanding of sustainability on an international level (the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals) and national level (the Well-being of Future Generations Act (Wales) 2015) and explores how these frameworks can be adopted by management and workforce to create a sustainable business.

Extensive use is made of specific examples and case studies and an understanding of sustainability frameworks developed through practical application and discussion.
