Overview
Yasir Joya holds a master degree in Materials (2008) and a PhD degree in Nanostructured Materials (2011) from the University of Manchester UK. He worked as Research Assistant Professor at the Government College University Lahore investigating UV laser interaction with oxide films for antibacterial applications. He also served as Associate Professor at GIK Institute, Pakistan and taught various Engineering and Nanotechnology related modules to UG/PG students. His current research focuses on designing laser micro/nano processing methods in collaboration with local industries and applying photonic technologies to improve productivity of the region.
