Entry Requirements

All applicants should normally be qualified clinicians or other suitably qualified healthcare practitioners, with access to supervising and / or teaching in their daily work.

Full time students not employed by a UK health trust/or in private practice with teaching opportunities will undertake some alternative modules in order to meet the learning outcomes of the programme. The teaching will be the same but the assessments differ slightly.

For Tier 4 Visa holders’ who are not employed by a health trust and are registering as full time students on the MA medical education practice at Bangor will be required to undertake some minimal unpaid teaching in the school to enable you to fulfil the learning outcomes of the programme. This is particularly important if you also wish to apply for HEA accreditation https://www.advance-he.ac.uk/ for which there is an additional fee payable direct to the HEA on completion of your portfolio.

A degree, degree level qualification, or professional qualification supplemented by relevant experience will normally form part of the applicants profile. Minimum of 2.ii accepted.
