  • JXH-1017: Human Physiology (20)
    The aim of this module is to provide the students with core knowledge of human physiology necessary to understand the physiological saspects of exercise and sport covered in subdequent modules (SSHES) and to understand human disease processes (BioMedSci). The students are also introduced to the acute physiological responses to exercise and pathophuysiological mechanisms in disease as tools for better understanding human physiology and as a foundation for future modules.

  • JXH-1027: Psychomotor Behaviour (20)
    This module covers sports psychology, motor control, and biomechanics and applies them to understand human performance considered from a number of theoretical perspectives. Topics to be covered will include confidence, stress, psychological skills, visual perception, memory, attention, stages of information processing, factors influencing reaction time, movement preparation and execution.
