Run by School of Sport, Health and Exercise Sciences

20 Credits or 10 ECTS Credits

Semester 1

Organiser: Dr Ross Roberts

Overall aims and purpose

Pwrpas y modiwl hwn ar gyfer myfyrwyr i ddeall prosesau ymchwil mewn chwaraeon, iechyd, a gwyddorau ymarfer cwmpasu ystadegau cyfrifiadol.

The purpose of this module is for students to understand research processes in sport, health, and exercise sciences covering computational statistics.

Course content

Mae hwn yn fodiwl ddwbl sy'n cynnwys dwy ran, Rhan A (ystadegau cyfrifiadol) a Rhan B (Athroniaeth Gwyddoniaeth) Rhan A cynnwys: ANOVA Ffactor Sengl Dau Ffactor ANOVA Mesurau Ailddarllediad ANOVA Atchweliad syml Mutiple Atchweliad

Pwysig: Bydd gofyn i fyfyrwyr sy'n methu'r modiwl (farc y modiwl cyffredinol llai na 40%) neu colli asesiadau modiwl, i ymgymryd ag aseiniad ailsefyll neu gyntaf-sefyll yn yr Wythnos Asesu Atodol (SAW). Bydd y SAW yn cael ei gynnal yn yr ail wythnos Gorffennaf 2018 (union ddyddiad i'w gadarnhau yn nes at yr amser). Os ydych yn ailsefyll eich aseiniad, bydd eich marc yn cael ei gapio ar 40%

This is a double module comprising two parts, Part A (computational statistics) and Part B (Philosophy of Science) Part A content: Single Factor ANOVA Two Factor ANOVA Repeated Measures ANOVA Simple Regression Mutiple Regression

module failure that prevents you passing the year will require resit assessment and attendance at Supplementary Assessment Week (exact date TBC but expected to be second week of July 2018)
