Youth prevails in SENRGy Comic Relief football match
In the name of charity, youth was pitted against experience (and in some cases wisdom) on Wednesday afternoon during the SENRGy staff-student football match.
To cut a long story short (and to gloss over the gory details) the students emerged winners by a score of 5-2. Obviously, the result wasn’t important and charity was the winner with over £150 being raised for Comic Relief. Rest assured a full risk assessment was carried out before the game and nobody was injured in this opportunity to make the staff realise that whilst the mind might still be sharp, sometimes the body is less willing!
