Why choose Bangor? 

The location is great, being so close to the mountains of Snowdonia, and the course was perfect. 

Course highlight...

The 2nd year field trip - we stayed in mid-Wales and got to visit a Red kite feeding station and a wolf sanctuary, as well as actually feeding a wolf from my hand (oh and learning lots too)! 

Clubs and Societies

I was frequently involved with the Canoe Polo club during first year. It's a phenomenal sport, not to mention pretty difficult, and I met loads of great people and learnt to play a sport that not many people have heard of. It's also a great conversation starter! 

Life in Bangor

The atmosphere in Bangor is lovely. The city isn’t that big but has everything you'll need, and you feel closer to all of the other students at the university due to Bangor's size.
